New in 2008, this certification program, awarded by the Organization Systems Renewal Graduate Program of Seattle University, gives individual practitioners the competencies and confidence to engage with changing organizational systems. Grounded in theory, design, and methodology, this specially-designed program is a natural extension of the OSR Masters program.

Program description and course goals — Grounded in an approach to change that was developed in the context of two generations of intensive research

Design — Emphasizes learning by choice, joint design and experimentation and working with real time examples

Schedule — Sessions are at Seattle University over two full, non-residential days: Friday and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day.

First, we looked at “how” the individual or organization responded to questions and dilemmas that resist easy answers.

We looked closely at the varied responses which allowed us to see otherwise hidden possibilities. We introduced the term gesture as a way to identify underlying impulses. It was through gesture that we started to uncover what is happening now and then to work with adaptive responses.
